5th grade March 5, 2009! CUMMER

The students finished the "modernism" program with creating an art project of their own. They used oil pastels to create a "O'Keefe" type artwork. This one was created by Mikhaela! What a wonderful piece of art!

The fifth graders enjoyed the "Modernism" program at the Cummer. We saw paintings of Georgia O"Keefe and Max Weber. The paintings were more real at the Museum compared to the pictures we had seen. No pictures are allowed in the gallery but here are a few in Art Connections!

Remember the Cummer is ope n on Tuedsay's 4-8 free to the public. Visit them at http://www.cummer.org/.

The fifth graders went to the Cummer Museum today. Our appointment was at 11:15 so we worked on a modern art project before we left. They completed their " Picasso" face with all different types of msterials and textures. The art work is terrific!
