Vacation!

We began our vacation visiting MY 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Royal in Clinton, NC. What a wonderful visit since we had not seen each other in many many years. She is the reason I am a teacher.

Clinton, North Carolina is a farming community. I had never seen a tobacco field and I have leaf to share with the class.

Lolly loved going on our vacation trip. We ate at Sal Grosso -- a Brazilian Steakhouse. It was delicious.

Mr. Banks, CJ (nephew) and Lolly at the restaurant.

We went to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Atlanta. This is the home where Dr. King Jr. was born and lived with his family. His tomb is also pictured. I love history so I really enjoyed this!

We went to the Georgia Aquarium!

WOW! I would love to take all of you on a field trip there (if it was closer!). Visit their web site.

It is very nice restaurant but not really fancy. My friend I visited in Atlanta had been there. It was delicious and a lot of meat! :)
