The third graders had a great experience at Tillie Fowler Park with the naturalist, Miss Leslie. They made binoculars and walked in the woods to listen for birds and see them. I believe we saw a cardinal, mourning dove, woodpecker (can't remember which one) and probably more. I forgot to take the camera! :( But the students did make nature birds so I will post some pictures soon.

When are the volenteers you said were coming,coming?And what are they coming to talk to us about?I cant wait untill the volenteers come!Also who is "Theb Worm Guy"?Thats a wierd name.I know "that person" is a 3rd grader.Iam so happy next year we will go to Tallahassee.I also cant believe this year is almost over. Are you talking abut your bird picture? I couldn't put all of the pictures on the blog, however, they are now hanging up in the classroom. :)

We are having 2 guest speakers. One is coming from Operation Lifesaver which is about the importance of safety arond railroad crossings. The other person is from mosquito control to talk to us about bugs. It is hard to believe that gifted is alomst over for the year. BUT 4th grade is really cool with a ton of field trips. :)

The worm guy is someone in 4th grade! You know Gifted kids they all seem to have large imaginations! I am so glad you like Gifted. I do too! :) Next year in 4th will be great.! :)
