The fourth graders are going to Tallahassee on a field trip on April 17, 2008. They are currently studying the structure of Florida's government.
Our trip schedule is :
6:15 Arrive at Cedar Hills ( Yes it is AM!)
10:30Florida Supreme Court Mock Trial
12:00 Lunch, BRING A BAG LUNCH FROM HOME! ]
1:00 Florida Musuem of History
2:00 New Capitol
3:00 Old Capitol
5:00 Dinner (bring money or bag lunch)
7:30 Return to Cedar Hills

I can't believe we're seriusly going to meet at 6:15 A.M.!
That's 15 minutes earlier than I usually Get up!
I'll probally have to get up at
5:00 A.M. or earlier! It takes Me about an hour to get ready, and I don't know how long it takes us to get to Cedar Hills elementary exactly!

I hate to complain Mrs.Banks, But as I found out a few minutes ago, I'll have to get up at 4 a.m. or earlier! My mom and dad want to be there early. I think I'll print a map from Cedar Hills Elm. to Tallahassee so that I can keep track of where we are. As far as I'm concerned that's fun! I'll also bring a pad of paper so that me and whoever else wants to can play games such as Hangman, Wheel Of Fortune, Possibly Jebordy and that game where you try to finish a box and put your inital in it. I can't remember the name. If any other games are thought of we might be able to play those!

Yes, we have to get up early but what an adventure!!! Tallahassee is one of my favorite trips. I love social studies, government and history! :) The games sound fun and I love the idea of the map. A great way to pass the time and learn geography at the same time. See you tomorrow!
