3rd grade Bird activities

Third graders studied about birds today to prepare for the field trip to Tillie Fowler Park on birds. What is the smallest bird? What is the largest bird? How many different kinds of birds are there?
Enjoy Spring break and remember on April 7th is the trip. Wear long pants, tennis shoes and bug spray (if needed). Bring a bag lunch and drink. Students on the school lunch program a lunch was ordered.

Glad you enjoyed it. It is still a challenge for me to get the pictures from the camera to the computer then on the blog! But I am improving! :)

Thank you for your encouragement! Thanks for sparking my interest in this with your workshop. I do want to learn new things always (if not whack me on my head). :) I still have questions for our Spring Break meeting!

Mrs. Banks, I would like to say Thank you so very much for the interest you show in all the kids you teach. You have had Donald Meshke in your class for 3 years now and it amazes me how interested he remains in the stuff he does in classw. Teachers like you are rare.. God Bless You.

The oldest living bird is the Laysan Albatross according to National Geographic. Go to news.nationalgeographic.com/news, that is where I found it. :)
